ID#: 957 Wednesdays : Washington : Weekly Quran Study Circle

The DC Quran Halaqa meets weekly to have an open discussion of assigned verses.
The event has ended!
GWU Marvin Center, 800 21st St NW, Room 406, Washington, DC, 20052
Wednesday, August 24, 2016 To Wednesday, November 16, 2016
On every Wednesday, till Wednesday, November 16, 2016

The weekly Qur'an halaqas are open personal facilitated reflections of the group. Since this is personal reflection, there are no wrong answers or unwelcomed interpretations.

There will be SEVERAL copies of different translations/
interpretations of the Quran, but since this will be a weekly occurrence, a personal copy might be useful. Don't have one? We should remedy that!

The goal of this halaqa is to cultivate a personal relationship with the Book of Allah, in a manner that brings it to life more than just a history or textbook.

We meet every Wednesday at 7pm in the GW MSA Prayer Room, located in Room 406 of the Marvin Center in DC.

It's an open welcoming group, that requires NO prior knowledge of anything - so come through!

See more details at www.facebook.com/DCQuranHalaqa for reading assignments.
