Demi Lovato took to Twitter Wednesday (Aug. 23) to declare she would be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.

Lovato will join officially reported entertainers Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd and more at the occasion, facilitated by Katy Perry and airing live from The Forum in Inglewood, California.
"See you at the VMAs this year," the vocalist composed, joined by the winking-face and grinning fallen angel emoticons. MTV has connected with the military with an end goal to bring dynamic obligation transgender military administration individuals to Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, a US guard official told CNN.
It's a welcome that is probably going to attract regard for transgender administration individuals, an issue that has turned out to be politically charged in the wake of President Donald Trump's July tweets that seemed to require the reestablishment of a prohibition on transgender people serving in the military.
Pentagon Spokesman Lt. Col. Paul Haverstick disclosed to CNN Wednesday that "MTV has asked for benefit part investment during the current year's VMAs."
